Anna Holden
Partner - Vet - BVM, MRCVS
Anna qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1995. When Anna qualified she spent 2 years in a mixed practice in Wiltshire before traveling and working in Australia and New Zealand. Since 2000 Anna has worked in small animal practices in Bucks and Northants. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and has an interest in tortoises. Outside of work Anna plays rugby, enjoys walking, DIY and gardening.
Jonathan Harte
Partner - Vet - BVM&S, MRCVS
Jonathan graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2004. He joined the practice straight after graduation and stayed with us for 3 years as a mixed vet doing equine, farm and small animal work. He then left us to go traveling and when he returned to the UK he realised his interest lay with small animals. He rejoined Swanspool in October 2011 and his main interests are surgery and orthopedics.


James Burgess
Vet - MRCVS
James qualified from Harper & Keele Vet school in 2025. After spending numerous weeks with us throughout his studies he joined us straight after graduation.
Clinically he enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in neurology and orthoapedics.
Outside of work James enjoys going to the gym and spending time in the outdoors with his partner and their terrier cross Todd.

Gizem Gursu
Vet - MRCVS
Gizem graduated in 2014 from Ankara University in Turkey, she also completed further lectures in Universidade de Lisboa after. Since her graduation she has worked in small animal practices in Turkey until deciding to make the move to the UK in 2021.
Gizem enjoys trekking, board surfing, and describes herself as a bookworm, with history and mythology books being a favourite. She also has a special interest in 70s,80s progressive rock music!

Caitlin Braham-Nicoll
Vet - MRCVS
Caitlin qualified from The University of Veterinary Medicine in Slovakia in 2022, Working here at Swanspool is her first job out of vet school. Caitlin loves everything from the small furries to the great danes. When not at work Caitlin plays in a brass band, enjoys running and hikes with Ruby the Spinone.
Indre Meskauskiene
Vet - DVM MRCVS
Indre graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2021. Since her graduation she has worked in small animal practices in Lithuania and then continued her career in London before joining our Swanspool vets team. In her spare time she enjoys painting, skateboarding and playing the flute. Her particular fields of interest are small animal surgery and dermatology.
